Terms and Conditions

By submitting the registration form, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

  • The participant must be at least 16 years of age to register and if you are below 16, your application will not be considered.
  • The participant must be certified by a doctor to have a disability or a psychiatric condition.
  • The participant must be a Singaporean or a Singaporean PR to register. If you are not a Singaporean or a Singapore PR, your application will not be considered.

2. Registration of Skills Category

  • The participant must only register for 1 Skills Category. If the participant registers for more than 1 category, your application will not be considered.

3. Participation Details

Singapore heats

  • You are participating in the Singapore heats for the International Abilympics 2020.
  • All cost related to your participation for the Singapore heats will be on your expense.
  • Participants are expected to bring their own equipment or tools to assist in their partaking of the heats, aside from those items that will be provided by the organiser.
  • Absence in the Singapore heats will result in disqualification and there will be no additional sessions for the heats.
  • The organiser of the Singapore contingent of the International Abilympics 2020 will not be held liable should there be any accidents or injuries sustained during the Singapore heats.
  • The organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or the terms at any time without prior notice.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you stay informed and up to date with our terms.
  • There will be only one final participant per category selected for the Singapore contingent of the International Abilympics 2020.
  • The judges’ decision is final and no future correspondence will be entertained.

INTERNATIONAL ABILYMPICS (IA)

  • All participants that have been selected from the Singapore Heats are qualified to participate as a representative of the Singapore Contingent to compete in the International Abilympics.
  • All costs (accommodation and flight) related to your participation for the International Abilympics will be covered by the Singapore organising committee.
  • Participants are expected to bring their own equipment or tools to assist in their participation of the International Abilympics as a representative, aside from those items that will be provided by the IA organiser.
  • The Singapore organising committee of the International Abilympics 2020 will not be held liable should there be any accidents or injuries sustained during the International Abilympics.
  • The IA organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or the terms at any time without prior notice.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you stay informed and up to date with the terms and conditions of the IA organisers.

4. Media Consent

By registering, you agree that any photographs, videos or quotes may be used for marketing communication and promotional materials related to the International Abilympics and Bizlink Centre Singapore Ltd.
