Sheltered Workshop Programme

This programme provides a conducive on-the-job training environment specifically designed to develop their social skills and preparations for gradual transitioning into an open employment.

Program includes the following components:

  • On-the-job training
  • Salary package that includes CPF
  • Vocational training plans that are tailored to their individual needs.

Additional Criteria

  • Have work capability or basic form of work concept
  • Applicants will be assessed by our vocational assessment team for eligibility and suitability.

Work Therapy Programme

Provides a range of activities that contributes to lifelong learning, skill development and opportunities for building social relationships before advancing into the sheltered workshop programme.

Program includes the following components:

  • Work Therapy Training (Vocational & Soft skills training)
  • Community living skills training
  • Physical Maintenance Exercise
  • Social Activities
  • Caregiver Support

Additional Criteria

  • Must be ADL (Activities of Daily Living) independent.

Day Activity Centre (DAC)

Our diligent trainers customize training programs along with health care professionals to assure that our beneficiaries are being taken care of.

Here is what our Day Activity Centre focuses on:

  • Work Therapy Programme: Engaging in simple, purposeful work tasks to develop relevant skills & appropriate work attitudes
  • Physical Maintenance: Encouraging active lifestyles through physical & rehabilitation activities which minimise physical deterioration & improve one’s health
  • Community Living Skills Training: Developing self-care skills which enable independent living
  • Social & Interpersonal Skills: Educating & Equipping skills to interact & socialise with others
  • Emotional & Behavioural Intervention: Reinforcing socially acceptable & positive behaviours

DAC is located at Blk 82 Circuit Rd, #01-04, Singapore 370082

Location is within proximity to the Macpherson MRT station, which allows easy access and enables mobility training for clients
for independent travel.

Vocational Assessment Service

While offering our assistance and counselling, we evaluates each individual’s strengths and weaknesses to determine their work capacity for any potential job opportunities available in our sheltered workshop training or social enterprises.

Admission Criteria

  • Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

(For Permanent Residents, at least one immediate family member must be a Singapore Citizen. Immediate family member refers to spouses, parents, children of the applicant, including step-parents and step-children.)

  • Have a permanent disability

(Including Physical/Intellectual with IQ less than 70, Developmental/Hearing Impairment/Visual)

  • From the age of 18 years and above
